I agree, it is not rational to vote for the political class that does these terrible things to America. But ideology and party preference is set in concrete and it is hard to believe that most Dems or adherents to RINO politicians will ever switch parties. It is like asking people to switch churches or denominations or whole religions. They will not do so, even if the leaders of their religious group are corrupt. They will insist on holding the course and hoping that someday it will be better.
